Bad Example

Justin F. Lookadoo’s “goal is to help teens make wise choices that will set them up for success in life,” says the 44-year-old youth motivational speaker’s website. “His message was spot on about making good choices,” said Youth Resources of Southwestern Indiana executive director Ann Burnworth, whose group Lookadoo had spoken to in the past. But recently, just before midnight, he pulled over to the shoulder of an interstate — to sleep, he told deputies. They said they smelled alcohol on his breath and saw vomit in his car, and that he blew .07 percent on a Breathalyzer. Public intoxication, they charged, so they took him to the Vanderburgh County Jail. He was released on $200 bail. Youth Resources has “severed ties.” (AC/Evansville Courier & Press) ...His new message for teenagers: Look at what I say, not what I Doo.
