Banker’s Hours

Employees of a credit union in West Des Moines, Iowa, were still in the parking lot since it was only 8:15 a.m. “They actually watched this guy yank on the doors,” a police spokesman said. They noticed him since he was wearing a hoodie, sunglasses, and had a bandanna over his face. When the man realized the doors were locked, he ran. At 8:45, the scene was repeated at a bank down the street. It also wasn’t open yet, and he fled when he spotted a police car — which was going from bank to bank to warn of the apparent robber in the area. (RC/Des Moines Register) ...Early to bed, early to rise ...isn’t the best career advice for a robber.
