Bellingham Blockheads II
After allegedly stealing a pickup truck in Bellingham, Wash., Westley French, 22, Richard Genn, 22, and Gregory Carson, 24, eluded police for a day. They then apparently ditched the truck, and a patrol car spotted the three men in a green car. After a high-speed chase the men escaped, but were found in a parking lot the next morning, in the same car, painted black — but with the same license plates. They were also wearing the same clothes, and two of them had black spray paint on their hands. French was arrested on suspicion of felony eluding, and on warrants for robbery and a prior burglary. Genn and Carson were initially released, then later arrested on first-degree robbery charges. (MS/Bellingham Herald) ...It could’ve been worse: they could’ve been caught red-handed.Original Publication Date: 22 September 2013
