Big Brother Is Watching

Federal law enforcement agents took over a case when it appeared that Google’s headquarters in Mountain View, Calif., was being targeted in “a series of attacks.” Office windows were shot at, and a self-driving car was destroyed by arson. Reports say a “Street View” camera car was also targeted, but two Molotov cocktails failed to ignite that one. Security camera footage indicated that the attacks were perpetrated by one man, and Raul Murillo Diaz, 30, of Oakland has been arrested as a suspect. Diaz reportedly told U.S. Attorney’s Office investigators that “he felt Google was watching him and that made him upset,” and later “admitted to committing the two arsons and shooting into the Google building.” (RC/San Jose Mercury News, KNTV San Jose) ...In the old days they were paranoid of “federal law enforcement agents.” It says something that Google is now more feared.
