Bird Has a Word

The London, England, Fire Brigade was called out to help retrieve a runaway macaw. “Jessie had been on the same roof for three days, and there were concerns that she may be injured, which is why she hadn’t come down,” Watch Manager Chris Swallow said. As suggested, firefighters told the bird they loved her, and she replied, “I love you.” But as they continued to approach Jessie, she started telling them to “F off” and otherwise cussing them out. And when that didn’t work, she flew away. The firefighters, realizing she was OK, went away too. (AC/Edinburgh Scotsman) ...A happy ending for the macaw. A happy ending for Swallow. No such luck for the pet owner.
