Can’t Be Too Careful

Jeffrey Adams, 22, says he’s “not 100 percent sure why he was so mad,” but when he stopped at a yellow traffic light in Boca Raton, Fla., the driver behind him was furious — he apparently wanted to beat the light. The other driver jumped out of his car and came up to Adams to scream at him. Adams got out to face him, and when the man cursed him, “I just laughed and flipped him off,” Adams says. The man attacked, but Adams — a mixed-martial arts fighter — easily defended himself. The man ran back to his car and grabbed a baseball bat; Adams took it away and hit the man with it. The man then fled, but police have a suspect. Adams said the attack “was traumatizing” and is too shaken to drive. But when he does go back to driving, “I’ll be driving like a little old lady,” he said. (RC/South Florida Sun-Sentinel) ...Which is pretty much what angered the other guy in the first place.
