Charge It

Kristi Goss, 43, worked for Garland County Ark. Her boss discovered some discrepancies on Goss’s county-issued credit card account, and asked for an investigation. That investigation led to criminal charges alleging Goss had fraudulently charged approximately $200,000 worth of unauthorized items to the card, including various personal bill payments, hotel gift cards, a diamond bracelet, football game tickets, sequin throw pillows, her real estate taxes, and a tuxedo for Goss’s pug to wear at the same time as her children attended prom. Goss, who could possibly be sentenced to 100 years in prison, has been fired; she was the administrative assistant for the county judge. (MS/Hot Springs Sentinel-Record) ...At least the pug has proper attire for the trial.
