Cheap Flight

“The plane was really small,” Milan Schipper noticed, “and so I figured, would that make it to Australia?” But the Dutchman boarded the Air Canada aircraft in Toronto anyway; that was the scheduled transfer for his trip from Amsterdam to Sydney. He’d bought the ticket because it was nearly $300 less than competing offers, and when he looked at the map displayed on the little seat-back screen in front of him, he finally figured out why: he and his summer clothing were on their way to beautiful, snowy Sydney, Nova Scotia, Canada.
