Christmas Miracle II

A homeless man “found” 300,000 Euros (US$355,700) at the Charles de Gaulle airport in Paris, France. Security camera footage shows the man, who apparently has been “living rough” at the airport for some time, digging through trash cans before making his find, leaving his tattered belongings behind, and leaving the airport, probably forever. How is it there was so much money in a trash can? Well, airport officials went on to explain, there wasn’t. Rather, he “leaned” on a door and found it was not properly locked — the door for the Loomis cash management company. That set off an alarm, but the man dashed in and ran out seconds later with two large sacks of cash. “This is indeed quite fortuitous,” said an unidentified “source” who is close to the case. “This homeless man benefitted from a combination of circumstances to land himself a huge Christmas present.” (RC/BBC) ...Interesting cultural difference: in the U.S., we call that burglary.
