Customs officials at the border between El Paso, Texas, and Juárez, Mexico, arrested two men and charged them with smuggling 13 pounds of marijuana. “Not unusual,” you might say, except that the men were smuggling the pot from Texas to Mexico. Mexican officials say the car had been chosen for a random inspection, and agents arrested a Mexican citizen and a U.S. citizen when the drugs were found. A month before, the local newspaper notes, a woman from El Paso was arrested with a kilo of crystal meth that she allegedly smuggled into Juárez.
