Craigstwist

A Craigslist ad sought someone to beat or kill a woman’s estranged husband. “I am scared to death of this man,” the ad said, describing a domestic assault for which Christian Koelsch, 30, of Washington Township, Pa., had already been convicted. And it asked would-be hitmen to call his wife’s number. But the wife was shocked when she saw the ad, and police discovered that the phone number and Internet address Craigslist had for the person who placed the ad weren’t hers, but rather Koelsch’s, who was trying to frame her. The resulting charge of false report turned his probation from the domestic violence case into a four-to-19-month jail sentence, and his sentence for the frame-up, one day to 23 months, will run concurrently. (AC/Chambersburg Public Opinion) ...Kill him or just beat him up, jail him for almost two years or only one day — they’re not too precise in Washington Township, are they?
