Trey Michael McDaniel, 19, must make very powerful water: Portland, Ore., officials say he was caught on camera adding a little of it — in the form of urine — to their Mount Tabor Reservoir, and they decided to flush 38 million gallons of treated drinking water down the drain. “Health risk slight,” said the official post-tinkle tweet, “but we won’t purposely serve tainted H2O to public.” Is McDaniel in hot water? “We intend to prosecute to the full extent of the law,” said city Commissioner Nick Fish. In 2011, another man wet the water supply and got 24 hours of community service (see “He Doesn’t Even Want to Know What the Bears Do in the Woods” in Volume 18). The reservoir was dumped then too.
