Didn’t Get the Job

When Ryan William Dickson, 39, arrived for a job interview at a taxi and shuttle company in Des Moines, Iowa, he had “a little trouble parking,” police say. A woman who worked for the company watched Dickson trying to park, but he couldn’t drive straight and hit two parked cars. Officers found he had gotten out of the hospital at 8:00 a.m., where he had been treated “for his alcohol consumption,” and had arrived at the taxi company at 9:25 a.m. — and allegedly admitted that, in the meantime, he had drunk a bottle of vodka. A breath test measured Dickson’s blood alcohol at .273 percent, and he was arrested for drunk driving. (RC/Des Moines Register) ...But don’t worry: he was out of jail in time for his interview with Uber.
