Distracted Driving

After calls of a reckless driver on Interstate 75 near Punta Gorda, Fla., Charlotte County Sheriff deputies found the car — driving 40 mph in a 70 mph zone, and swerving all over the road. After pulling the car over, driver Brandon Aaron, 34, allegedly told them, “Sorry, I was rolling a joint.” A search of his car found a “felony amount” of marijuana, meth, opioids, and various other drugs and paraphernalia; Aaron was arrested.
