After a rash of thefts of passenger luggage from the baggage claim area at Colorado’s Denver International Airport, including a bag belonging to rock star Peter Frampton, a local TV station went to conduct an interview about the problem. Reporters set up in baggage claim with DIA spokeswoman Stacey Stegman, and at the very moment Stegman was telling the TV camera that “It doesn’t happen often,” a bag was stolen “just a carousel or two away from where you were filming,” an airport policeman told the news crew.
