Doing Laps
A man riding a four-wheeler near the Escambia County, Fla., residence of Douglass Barlow, 74 — and he didn’t like that at all. A witness said that every time the four-wheeler passed, Barlow would chase after it. On the fourth lap, the witness said Barlow came out from behind a pickup truck with a baseball bat. He allegedly took two swings at the ATV, but missed both times. The rider’s brother ran over to aid his kin, and the witness said Barlow hit him in the lower back with the bat. The victim said he took the bat from Barlow and waited for police to arrive. Barlow is charged with two counts of aggravated assault, and damage to property criminal mischief under $200.
