Don’t Bring a Knife to a Gunfight; Instead...
Thomas Allopenna, 26, was leaving the Players Club in Hudson, Fla., when Jonathan Crespo, 22, allegedly approached his driver’s side window with a gun and fired five shots, hitting Allopena in the arm three times. Allopenna got out of his truck and grabbed Crespo, who then allegedly said, “Give me all your s---.” A witness who saw the shooting ran over and hit Crespo with a shovel. According to the police report, Allopenna then took the shovel and started beating Crespo with it. Both men were taken to a hospital for treatment. Crespo has been charged with one count of attempted murder, and one count of armed robbery, but “was unable to give a statement due to his injuries.” (MS/Tampa Bay Times) ...That’s OK.
