The ad in the airport was outrageous, obviously. “You’re precious cargo, not cattle,” it said, trumpeting passenger-terminal upgrades at Billy Bishop City Airport in Toronto, Ont., Canada. Objections were raised, and the poster was taken down. Were the protests about calling air passengers “cargo”? Apparently not: critics were rallied by Len Goldberg, who claimed the slogan was “insulting” to ...actual cattle. No cows had complained. (AC/Canadian Press) ...His complaints were just a cover.
