A Fool and His Pistol are Soon Parted
The Florida Highway Patrol arrested the driver of a red Corvette after, a couple said, he pointed a pistol at them in a road rage incident on the Florida Turnpike. William Rian Adams, 35, in Martin County from Fletcher, N.C., allegedly admitted he had a pistol under his seat, but told troopers he never got it out. The Glock pistol was taken as evidence, and Adams was charged with two counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. That may cause problems at his job back home: he’s the priest at Calvary Episcopal Church in Fletcher.
