Double Your Fun

Lincoln, Neb., police came up on a vehicle stuck in the mud. Police later said the driver, Shawn Walker, 21, was driving at about 50 mph and didn’t realize there was a roundabout at the intersection. He drove through the center of the roundabout, across the pavement, and into the mud. According to officers, Walker was in the driver’s seat, but before the responding officer could get to the car, passenger Daniel Krupicka, also 21, switched seats and told the officer he had been driving. He then tried to pull the car out of the mud. Krupicka’s blood alcohol content tested at 0.123 percent, and Walker’s at 0.218. Walker was released after being cited for negligent driving and drunken driving. Krupicka was released after being cited for not wearing a seat belt — and drunken driving.
