Drug Mouse
A search of a warehouse in Pilar, Argentina, turned up 5,460 kg of marijuana. That was a problem: it was a police warehouse where 6,000 kilos had been stored. Multiple officers claimed mice were responsible for the missing portion, but according to a judicial spokesman, mice don’t eat weed — it’s toxic to them. “A lot of corpses would have been found in the warehouse” if they had eaten it, the spokesman said. Eight officers have lost their jobs. But a question remains for the court: was the pot lost to “expedience or negligence”?
