Family Fights Florida Style

Police were called to the Sebastian, Fla., home of Angela Austin-Knight. When officers arrived, they found her in the kitchen with a bottle of liquor, and her husband locked in the bathroom. The husband said the two had argued, and at some point went outside. He said she grew more violent and started hitting him, so he ran inside and locked the door. “After realizing the door was locked,” the police report notes, “Angela then grabbed a nearby porcelain toilet lid, and used it to break the kitchen window, where she made entry into the residence.” Once inside, Austin-Knight “threatened to hurt him further with the porcelain toilet lid.” Austin-Knight, who appeared intoxicated and gave a different version of the incident, was arrested and taken to jail. (MS/Vero Beach Press Journal) ...One thing’s for sure: their relationship is in the toilet.
