Freak of Nomenclature, Probation Department

A Danielson, Conn., man was arrested on multiple sexual assault charges, but was released with GPS monitoring through a supervisory program. The man allegedly violated the program’s conditions — 18 times. He was finally arrested and put back in jail after stopping off at a package store to buy a six-pack of beer. He “has a long history of not complying” with supervision, Assistant State’s Attorney Matthew Crockett said. “And he faces serious charges.” According to his defense attorney, Joseph Sandman visited the off-limits establishment to help deal with the “anxiety” caused by the charges against him. (MS/Norwich Bulletin) ...If only there was someone who could help Sandman sleep.
