When Sen. Rick Santorum tried the rice pudding at the U.S. House of Representatives’ cafeteria, he liked it enough to ask that the recipe be sent to the Senate cafeteria. The chef at the House cafeteria refused, saying it was a family secret. House Administration Chairman Bill Thomas was asked to intervene, but he also refused. “Let them eat cake,” he cracked. (RC/Reuters) ...“Off with his head,” Santorum demanded.
