Shroyer also told them the cat directed him to rob a bank with a plastic gun; police say he robbed it with a concealed item. He said he was even obeying the cat when he rammed a police car. According to police, Shroyer dropped a plastic bag on his way out of the bank, scattering $582 in cash, but he still had $990 on him when finally arrested. Judge John F. Wagner Jr. ordered Shroyer to serve 2-1/2 to 5 years in prison, submit to a mental health assessment, and repay $1,572. (AC/Pittsburgh Tribune-Review) ...The $582 he dropped? The cat got it.
