Let’s Go for a Walk

The District Attorney in Ohio County, W.Va., is “mulling over” how to charge a couple found walking along a busy section of Route 40 at 9:30 in the morning. The woman had the man on a leash; he was on his hands and knees, was wearing only a collar and a hood, and his ankles were bound. The woman was reportedly wearing a nightgown. “They said it was ... a consensual sex game, and they were offended that people were stopping and calling them freaks,” said sheriff Lt. Nelson Croft. Other than “obvious ligature marks on his feet and ankles,” Croft said, “he denied any injury. We won’t go into the other thing.” He identified the couple as Robert Deyell, 56, and his girlfriend, Barbara Jean Geardello, 53 — who goes by “B.J.” He was quick to add that both are originally from Pennsylvania. “That was the weirdest day ever,” Croft concluded. At least, he added, “I hope it was the weirdest day ever.” (RC/CNN) ...In West Virginia? That’s hardly likely.
