Physician, Heal Thyself

A doctor in Martinsburg, W.Va., is being charged with illegally prescribing various drugs, and the state Board of Medicine is seeking to revoke her license to practice, saying she is unqualified and a danger to the public. Dr. Tressie Montene Duffy, 44, the head of the West Virginia Weight and Wellness clinic, which also offers a “Chronic Pain and Opioid Dependency Treatment Program,” not only would allegedly sign blank prescriptions so unqualified office staff could hand them out later, but also had her own breasts surgically enhanced, and then “pulled Complainant R’s head between [her] breasts and asked Complainant R to ‘motor boat’ her,” a written complaint alleges. When the unnamed office staffer “Complainant R” complained, the document says, Duffy dismissed Complainant R as a “titty baby.” (RC/Charleston Daily Mail) ...She sure is unqualified: “windshield wiper” is much more fun than “motor boating”.
