Undercover detectives at the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office Special Victims Unit set up a sting when a 64-year-old man offered online to pay to have sex with a 13-year-old girl. After the man “described in detail what he wanted to do to the girl,” a detective posing as the girl’s father agreed to the meeting, and Paul Amato showed up. Detectives were quite sure it was the same man: Amato had said he was a professional Elvis Presley impersonator, and he showed up in full Elvis costume.
