Make That To Go
The incident went viral online: video taken by a customer shows a man attacking a clerk at a McDonalds in St. Petersburg, Fla., because she wouldn’t give him a second straw for his drink when he cursed her. Daniel Taylor said he had turned 40 that day, and had been celebrating, and has little memory of the details. He does remember “her hitting me repeatedly in the head. And of course the whole time I was thinking, ‘That doesn’t hurt. That doesn’t hurt. That doesn’t hurt.’” He served 56 days in jail for battery, and is resigned to the fact that the video of his antics will be online forever. “I was a drunken idiot,” he said.
