Me-First Aid
When Rodger William Kelly, 50, found his 29-year-old ex-girlfriend unconscious on the front porch of her house in St. George, Utah, he didn’t call 911 for help. Rather, police say, he brought her back to his own apartment and raped her. He told officers that was because “he was trying to save her life,” the police report says, saying that his actions were “to try and get her temperature up.” Officers, who were responding to an unconscious person call, found Kelly was giving her CPR. When the woman regained consciousness, she noticed that she was wearing different clothing, and said she suspected she had been raped.
