Missouri Isn’t Long Enough

The clerk at an “adult novelty store” in St. Louis, Mo., was confronted by an armed robber. He pointed a gun at her, and said he would kill her in 30 seconds if she didn’t open the cash register for him. And then he started his count: “One Mississippi, two Mississippi, three Mississippi...”. The woman opened the register and handed over the cash. Upon seeing security camera footage from the store, police officers recognized the robber, and arrested John Dwayne Phillips Jr., 39.
