Never Give an Obliviot an Even Break II

A robber pulled a gun at a convenience store in Phoenix, Ariz., scored $300 worth of cigarettes, and headed for the door. He had pointed his gun at customers, too, and they didn’t take kindly to it: security camera video shows that once the robber turned his back, customers jumped him and beat him unconscious. One grabbed the robber’s pistol and ran off; someone else took something from the robber’s pocket and also took off. Police didn’t release the robber’s name because he’s only 17, but noted he couldn’t remember the robbery, and claimed he didn’t own a gun. He was charged with attempted armed robbery. (RC/KNXV Phoenix) ...I believe him — he didn’t own the gun, because he surely stole it.
