No Honor Among Thieves

After allegedly stealing over $750 worth of merchandise, two women fled a Kohl’s store in Redmond, Wash. Court documents say the suspected getaway driver, Ernest Price, 49, tried to run down a loss-prevention officer who was pursuing the duo, but the officer jumped out of the way and the truck instead hit one of the alleged shoplifters: his wife Cynthia Cornethan, 49. The women managed to get in the truck and the trio sped off. Police were able to locate and arrest Price and Cornethan, who both have extensive criminal records. Their accomplice hasn’t been identified. (MS/Seattle Times) ...Price is asking for a sentence that will keep him from going home too soon.
