No Smarts Among Thieves

According to court records, a 16-year-old boy in Lakewood, Wash., set up a deal over Facebook to buy marijuana. A friend met the dealer, who showed the goods — which the friend grabbed and ran. The dealer and his accomplice chased the friend before the boy who allegedly set up the deal showed up wearing a mask and wielding a handgun. He asked, “What’s up?” The dealers ran toward their car, but when the teen put the gun back into his pants, it went off, shooting him in the groin. The unnamed boy needed 7 hours of surgery to repair a fractured pelvis, fractured femur, and severely damaged femoral artery, and he was then arrested on suspicion of first-degree robbery with a firearm, and unlawful possession of a firearm. His friend was also arrested. (MS/Tacoma News Tribune) ...What’s down?
