Sweater Weather

As she was on-air presenting the weather at 8:19 a.m. on KTLA-TV in Los Angeles, Calif., weather reporter Liberté Chan was handed a sweater. What for, she asked. The off-screen voice replied, “We’re getting emails” about her dress. Chan’s black dress was not at all revealing, but she took the cardigan and put it on. “I look like a librarian now,” she said, still on the air. The obviously flustered Chan continued her report, and most viewers stood behind her. “Your dress was fine and the shaming forced on you was simply cruel and uncalled for,” said one woman. (RC/San Francisco Chronicle) ...Why Angelenos were offended: Chan’s breasts clearly aren’t fake.
