Now That’s a Club

Shantel Jones, 28, of Louisiana was home visiting family in Willimantic, Conn., when she made a visit to the Ultra Violet Gentlemen’s Club. Jones took umbrage at being asked to pay the cover charge to get inside the strip club, and, police say, she went out to her car, got a baseball bat, and returned and forced her way into the club. She smashed the joint’s cash register with the bat, and “damaged other property,” police say. “This type of belligerent behavior is grossly unacceptable and will not be tolerated within the City of Willimantic,” a police spokesman declared. Jones was charged with breach of peace, and criminal mischief. (RC/WVIT West Hartford) ...Clearly, she’s no gentleman.
