On the Run
Nicholas Spoors, 21, was obviously tired of being on parole. First, he allegedly cut off his electronic monitor. Then, according to police in Cedar Springs, Mich., Spoors and an unnamed partner stole a snowmobile (complete with helmet and gloves), but ditched the machine when it broke down. Police caught and arrested his partner quickly, but took a little longer to catch up with Spoors, who was eventually found — in a residence, hiding under a bed. He is charged with theft, breaking and entering, and being a habitual offender. (MS/Grand Rapids Press) ...But on the positive side, he got the award for finding the wussiest place to hide.Original Publication Date: 12 February 2012
