Out of Touch

After the U.S. Supreme Court ruled that states cannot discriminate against certain people when it comes to marriage, many Americans expressed their anger with the ruling “in a most perplexing way,” noted the Edmonton Journal newspaper in Alberta, Canada. “In their anger, they vowed to move to Canada.” That won’t provide much escape from equal rights, however: Canada legalized equal marriage 10 years before the U.S. (RC/Edmonton Journal) ...So they’re left with moving to Canada to escape “socialized” medical care. Oh, wait....
