Outflanked
With hundreds of homes consumed by lava streaming out of Hawaii’s Kilauea volcano, one landowner refuses to flee. Dale Altman, 66, and his grandson grow medical marijuana on 5 acres on Halekamahina Hill. It’s worth $100,000, he says, and it’s apparently not ready to harvest. “That’s why we didn’t leave.
