Overdue
Michael Kelly, 58, was in high school when he checked a book out of the library in Charleston, W.Va. Kelly, who now lives in Key Biscayne, Fla., is a plastic surgeon, and has finally returned the book — plus a $500 donation to the library. “I’m getting off easy,” he admits: “we were trying to figure out what the fine would be.” He recently found the book on a shelf, and returned it when home for his 40th reunion.
