When an 18-foot reticulated python was found slithering across the roof of a house in Detroit, Mich., police responded to a frightened 911 call, but they weren’t sure what to do about the snake. Luckily, someone else was already looking for her. “It was my fault that she did get out,” said its owner, identified only as Devin. “I was scared for her,” but he “had another friend of mine stand out here, make sure police didn’t do anything to her,” he said. “I appreciate that. Thank you.” He says the snake is a docile 8-year-old and would “never intentionally” harm a human.
