Park and Run
The driver of a 2012 Toyota drove into the garage at a house in Portland, Me., got out, and left. Problem one: it wasn’t his (or her) garage. Problem two: instead of opening the door and driving neatly in, he slammed into the corner of the building — damaging it so badly that Randolph Hodson, who lives in the house, said, that if not for a steel beam installed by a previous homeowner, the garage might have collapsed when the Toyota was removed. Police said they were looking for the driver. (AC/Portland Press-Herald) ...“If you’re out there, call us. Don’t drive to a police station; we’ll come get you.”Original Publication Date: 19 April 2015
