Please Stop

Bruce Dewey, 36, evidently did not like being followed, so he called 999, the British equivalent of 911, and asked the police in Worthing, West Sussex, England, to stop chasing him. No luck: the chase went on for almost 50 minutes. Police said it wasn’t at “high speed,” but three police vehicles were damaged anyway. Chichester Crown Court sent Dewey to jail for 15 months on a guilty plea to driving dangerously, without insurance, and without a sufficient license. The chase began when an officer who knew his license was provisional recognized him behind the wheel. (AC/London Telegraph) ...“Hello, 999? Could you please stop these people keeping me in this cage?”
