Prankcake
Kiaron Thomas, 21, went out for some pancakes. He set up a little table, sat down in a chair, and was captured on video as he consumed the flapjacks. Police were called — Thomas was eating in a crosswalk — but by the time officers arrived no one was there. But someone posted the video to the Lakeland, Fla., police’s Facebook page, tagged with Thomas’s name, and police contacted him. Thomas said it was a prank, but he was charged with obstructing the roadway and disrupting traffic.
