RKO WTF
Gianny Sosa Hernandez, 18, got into an altercation with Humberto Miret, principal of Southridge Senior High School in Miami, Fla., where Sosa-Hernandez attended, police say. According to the arrest report, Sosa Hernandez attempted an “RKO” on Miret: an RKO is a move made famous by World Wrestling Entertainment star Randy Orton, where the wrestler jumps in the air, grabs his opponent’s head, and drives their face into the mat when they fall. Sosa Hernandez was arrested on charges of battery on a school official and interference with an educational institution, and was released without bond. “It’s unfortunate that anyone would instigate a situation for self promotion that could bring harm to others,” a spokesperson for the school district said. The next week Sosa Hernandez was arrested again for attempting the RKO on another victim: a fake alligator worth about $3,500. That one was recorded on video as part of a social media stunt. A criminal mischief charge was added to the other charges, and this time he was held on $5,000 bond.
