Six Feet Under
Fredie Green’s son, Cody, was adjusting an ATV jump on his family’s property in Pottawatomie County, Okla., when he unearthed something unusual. “Went down a little deep and the tractor just stopped,” Cody said. “I went, ‘man, what is this?’ Well I end up digging some more and got to the hood of it, and ‘this is a car!’” Cody alerted his father, who called the police. “Just make sure that there were no dead bodies in the car,” Fredie explained. Deputies dug up the car and found no bodies, but they did trace the license plates and discovered its previous owner. “He had reported it stolen in 2003,” said Lt. Robert Stewart. “He at one time owned that property that vehicle was located on.” Deputies are investigating for possible insurance fraud. “It’s amazing that someone could even go that far to bury a brand new car,” Fredie said. (MS/KFOR Oklahoma City) ...What’s really amazing is the amount of dirt they’ll need to get that jump back.Original Publication Date: 20 August 2017
