Socially Unacceptable

Delray Beach, Fla., police took to Facebook to try to find a suspect in two robberies. They posted a security camera photo and Nick Hedges, 24, recognized the hat, sunglasses, and haircut of his former roommate, Connor L’Hommedieu, 22, who was quickly arrested for armed robbery. According to Hedges, L’Hommedieu didn’t leave on the best terms with him and another roommate, and he didn’t hesitate to turn him in. Hedges said this is actually the fourth time he’s turned someone in via Facebook. He reported three people on a police department’s Facebook page when he lived in Maryland, but this is first time he’s been told his tip actually led to an arrest. “The detectives let me know they appreciated it. It’s a pretty good feeling,” he said. (MS/South Florida Sun Sentinel) ...Roommate wanted, no criminal background check required.
