Spell Idiom with a T

So is “Killing two birds with one stone,” and certainly no one should “take the bull by the horns.” So says PETA, who suggests people can remove “speciesism” from their language with much better PETA-provided phrases like “Bring home the bagels,” “Feeding two birds with one scone,” and “Take the flowers by the thorn.” (RC/WBBH Fort Myers, Fla.) ...PETA: as usual they’re one can of zero-calorie sparkling water short of a six-pack.
