Spooky

The Museum of Natural Science in Houston, Texas, pre-emptively apologized when it realized that the invitation emailed in its bi-weekly newsletter for its Halloween night event might be offensive. The subject line was, “Party with Spooks”. Oh? “The word was meant to be a riff on the word spooky,” said museum president Joel Bartsch. “That was the intention.” He noted that “internal eyes” caught the title before anyone complained.
