Spray It, Don’t Say It
Residents of Placerville, Calif., are fed up with potholes in the roads. One driver was given a ticket when his front license plate was knocked off by the rough road. Residents made their ire clear: they called attention to the problems in the roads with spray paint. That included messages, like saying this is what they pay taxes for and, when that didn’t work, painting phallic images by the potholes. That got the attention of officials, all right: crews were quickly dispatched to ...remove the spray paint. They left without fixing the potholes. (RC/KTXL Sacramento) ...Voters just need to quickly dispatch themselves to the polls to ...remove the officials.Original Publication Date: 30 April 2017
